Backstage for Emma Mulholland with ghd at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week
Emma Mulhollands’ collection is for all the bored working girls and boys stuck in the daily grind, who just want to get out and let loose. We’ve incorporated and juxtaposed these double lives in the hairstyle we’ve created. The lengths of the hair is soft and beautiful, blow dried with volume and movement. Then we’re breaking the rules, placing a pastel coloured wig on top of beautifully blow dried hair. We’ve cut the wig into a bowl shape, accentuating the contrast of the 2 different styles. Drawing inspiration from Melanie Griffith in Working Girl, we’ve created 2 hairstyles in one, representing the double life of the 9-5 worker. Hair by Alan White for ghd Australia
